I took classes at a small graduate school (see also: track 1) in cornfield, IL this past year, studying to be a "professional counselor." I found myself (during this period) bouncing back and forth between three different therapists, working through a variety of issues stemming from the fallout of my first marriage (see also: track 3). "Recovery" is ultimately about these experiences. "Yes sir, and no sir, I'm losing it." What a confusing time! I poured so much of myself into this process of recovery: my surroundings, art, music, studies, community, etc. Through the hours, days, months, even now I find myself longing for nothing more than to rest in a state of passive, endless sleep. I have come to accept that my recovery is a process I will never fully complete.
