Song 1 (see also: track 8) is what remains of a series of poetic rants written during one of my "Psychological Systems" classes this past year: "President Bush this..." and "Homosexual that..." all squashed between the phrase, "the cowboys and the indians, pick what you are." The rants themselves (in my opinion) did not make good song material but the refrain stuck and led ultimately to the meager concept supporting this album: a series of nonsensical words (my songs) amidst "cowboys and indians."
